Nomads of Sehnsucht is een dynamisch collectief fotografische kunstenaars dat de grenzen van het medium verkent via experiment en samenwerking.
Annemarie van Buuren, Baukje Venema, Olga Rook, Nicole Hagesteijn en Jacqueline Louter benaderen fotografie op een poëtische en onderzoekende manier. Thema’s als landschap, identiteit en verlies vormen de kern van hun beeldtaal.
De tentoonstelling sluit inhoudelijk aan bij het muziekfestival CROSSROADS. Wie gevoelig is voor de poëzie van beelden, herkent hierin de echo van de muziek — een verwantschap die onder de huid kruipt. Nomads of Sehnsucht verbeeldt wat klinkt zonder geluid en biedt zo een visueel akkoord dat het gevoel achter de blues tastbaar maakt. De kunstenaars combineren digitale technieken met analoog vakmanschap en creëren verstilde, associatieve beelden met een gelaagde betekenis.

Nomads of Sehnsucht is a dynamic collective of photographic artists exploring the boundaries of the medium through experiment and collaboration.
Annemarie van Buuren, Baukje Venema, Olga Rook, Nicole Hagesteijn, and Jacqueline Louter approach photography in a poetic and reflective way. Themes such as landscape, identity, and loss form the core of their visual language.
The exhibition resonates with the music festival CROSSROADS. For those attuned to the poetry of images, these works echo the blues — a kinship that lingers beneath the skin. Nomads of Sehnsucht gives shape to what sounds without words, offering a visual chord that renders the feeling behind the blues tangible. The artists combine digital techniques with analogue craftsmanship to create contemplative, associative images of layered meaning.
